It's not going to be a pleasant day. The Five of Wands symbolizes frustration and conflict. You are in the thick of  whatever that may be which is contributing to your struggles. Things are most definately "out of whack". No consensus. Too many diverse opinions. Who's in charge? Where's the solution admidst all these competing voices? The number five symbolizes "movement" and "action" so there will be nothing static or stationery about today. Today's Tarot: The Empress

She represents the third card in the Major Arcana.  On the most obvious level, the Empress symbolizes "motherhood" and "abundance". In readings she is associated with "pure passion" and reminds us that it is through our passion and love that we obtain what a friend refers to as "heartfelt" knowledge.  The Empress relates and responds to the world through her senses which is a never ending source of delight and inspiration to her.

Ten of Wands.  Struggle. Burden. Excessive responsibility. Hardship. Uphill battle.  Going against the odds.

Questions to consider:

-What is weighing you down?

-Is it difficult for you to ask for help?

-Are you sure that the load you are carrying is worth the effort?

-Can you see the "light at the end of the tunnel"?

-Is this hardship of your own making?  Or did you inherit it?

-What or who is making life harder for you?

-Are you the "over responsible" type?

Nine of Pentacles

This card depicts a mature and dignified woman standing amidst her garden laden with fruit and her nine pentacles symbolizing abundance, plenty and material wealth. On her gloved arm perches a falcon whom the ancient Egyptians associated with the sun and all celestial deities. The falcon also represents freedom, liberty and intelligence. The Nine of Pentacles may also symbolize the "career woman" or the "professional woman as pentacles, of course, symbolize finance and the physical world.  She possesses confidence, poise and grace. Her world is safe and secure. In Chinese numerology the number nine symbolizes an "exulted status" and "stature" which clearly this woman exemplifies.

2011: The Year of the Rabbit

According to Chinese astrology 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit and appropriately enough as the "rabbit" has long been associated with "fertility" and "plenty" this year's July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays!Apparently, such a numerical phenomenon occurs once very 823 years and is associated with "fortune", "money" and "abundance".  Followers of Feng Shui recommend sharing this information with your friends and family as that generosity of spirit is supposed to create a positive, money-making energy around you.  So don't be left out!
